The AI Divide Is Coming — Which Side Will You Be On?

Hi Reader,

Welcome to Hal9 Weekly — insights from our founder Javier on turning AI ideas into real products.

Javier's Insights:The AI Divide — And Why It Matters for Founders

My prediction for AI in the next 10 years? It's going to be everywhere — but not for everyone.

We're heading toward a polarized world.

On one side, you'll have people with full access to AI and robotics. Tesla Optimus robots picking fruit in vertical farms. Self-driving taxis everywhere. AI wearables listening to every meeting and giving you real-time superpowers.

On the other side? People still doing agriculture by hand. Still driving their own cars. Marginally better lives — but nowhere near the same level of advancement.

The gap is going to be massive. And yes, that's a bit dystopian. Income inequality will increase because access to AI won't be equal.

But here's where I land on it:

Overall, I think the world will be better. Less poverty, more opportunity. AI and robotics will improve life for everyone to some degree.

The real question is: how many people actually get to participate in the massive prosperity AI creates?

That's exactly why we're building Hal9. We don't want a world where only 1% of the population has full access to AI. We want as many founders as possible building with AI, profiting from it, and living significantly better lives — not just marginally better.

The technology is coming either way.

Who gets to use it? That's what we're fighting for.

Customer Success Story: MoneyHavenFrom Cultural Tradition to AI-Powered Fintech MVP in Under 30 Days

MoneyHaven is a fintech startup on a mission to modernize the tanda — a beloved Latin American communal savings tradition — for a new generation of users in the USA. Their vision: an AI-powered companion that helps people save together, build financial discipline, and actually reach their goals.

The challenge? They needed to validate their entire technical architecture — AI integration, backend infrastructure, custom chat, and user experience — fast enough to stay ahead of the market.

Hal9 helped MoneyHaven:

🚀 Ship a fully functional AI-powered MVP in under 30 days

💬 Build a custom in-app chat feature after evaluating platforms like Telegram and Discord

🤖 Prototype a conversational AI agent to deliver personalized financial guidance

🏗️ Validate full-stack architecture — from onboarding through group savings collaboration

📍 Lay a scalable foundation for a production-ready app

The result? MoneyHaven walked away with a working prototype that validated their AI and technical assumptions, giving them a clear roadmap to a fully-featured product — and a compelling story to tell investors and early users.

"Hal9 helped us turn complex ideas into a working prototype in just weeks. Their platform gave us the speed and flexibility to validate our architecture, explore AI integration, and build a strong foundation for our product." — Fanny Tavera, Founder @ MoneyHaven

Hi Reader, Welcome to Hal9 Weekly — insights from our founder Javier on turning AI ideas into real products. Javier's Insights: AI Washing: The New Way to Spin a Layoff There's a pattern worth calling out right now. Companies are laying off workers at scale. But instead of saying that, a lot of CEOs are telling a different story:...
